About Me
Hey! My name is Luca Sonnenberg and I am 25-year-old 2D and 3D artist/Generalist from Bochum, Germany.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been passionate about creating my own characters and creatures, inspired by worlds like Avatar, Pokémon and Digimon. That early fascination with design and imagination eventually led me into the world of Game Art and 3D Animation.
I received my Diploma in Game Art & 3D Animation in March 2024, and completed my Bachelor of Arts in the same field in September 2025. During my studies, I deepened my love for character development and discovered my passion for character creation.

Over time, I made it my goal to master every step of the character creation pipeline from concept art to sculpting and modeling, retopology, texturing, rigging, skinning and animation. I genuinely enjoy each stage of the process, which is why I’ve developed into a generalist with a broad and flexible skill set.
As a freelancer, I’ve already had the opportunity to bring custom characters to life for various clients. Besides character work, I also enjoy creating environments and level designs, breathing life into entire worlds and atmospheres.
